Committee
ApplicationFor those who want to go deeper — work with NGOs, lead projects, and take on community responsibilities. Vetted. 3–7 hrs/week.

- +Lead projects end-to-end as Person In Charge (PIC)
- +Run events and onboard new members
- +Vouch for Official BFP projects
- +Shape how the community grows
We review applications within 1–2 weeks.
Members can attend events, contribute to open-source, and build their own tools. Committee members are vetted and work directly with NGOs — they're the backbone of the community. A member can apply to become a committee member at any time. Showing up consistently and shipping something is the strongest application signal.
Committee roles

Builder
3–7 hrs / weekBuild open-source tools that solve real problems for NGOs and underserved communities.
Ambassador
~1 post / weekCreate content on AI for social good and promote what the community is building.
Organizer
1+ event / monthRun events, manage Discord, handle community ops and member onboarding.
Researcher
3–5 hrs / weekAudit NGO digital capacity, gather data on AI adoption, and inform what we build.
The strongest applications come from people who have already attended an event or contributed to a project. If you haven't yet — join as a member first, show up, and apply when you're ready.
Committee application
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. We aim to reply within 1–2 weeks.
